Saturday, Setember26

God's blessings on each of you. May you feel his love, protection and provision. I am especially praying those things for myself, as yesterday I was told the cancer is back in a lymph nod close to the spine. I was shocked and devastated and am still reeling from this new information. I meet with Dr. Honeycutt next Friday to determine a course of action. Please pray for wisdom and God's guiding on what needs to be done. As you can imagine I am very fragile at this point so pray for my spiritual life, my emotions, and that I may find peace.

  1. Colette - I have been thinking and asking for God's hand for you since hearing the news from Pastor Juia yesterday. And then to come to your post this morning and see that the first thing you write is God's blessings on all of us. You have for so long prayed for others and their loved ones, my family included, that now it is our turn for you. I am not very good at it but I am learning because of you. Is there anything beside prayers we can do for you right now? Please don't be afraid to ask. Whether it is to come sit with you, read to you, clean for you, whatever please let us know. I am available most weekends so let me know. Love, Maureen

  2. Dear Colette,
You are on the hearts and minds of so many this weekend. I know CBS leaders are shaken up. We love you and we continue to pray. Kathy O. told me she prayed for you all during her half marathon yesterday.
God's peace and blessings on you, my friend.
    Love, Linda V.

  3. This is not the news we wanted, and I wish you didn't have to wait until Friday to learn more.
I bet Dr. Honeycutt will have a plan of action ready. If you need someone to go with you as an extra set of ears, or as a note-taker, I would love to help out.
We will NEVER give up on you. Don't YOU give up on you! Love, Anne
